Winning Solution ● (USA & Worldwide)
2011, InnoCentive Inc., USA, Challenge # 9221029 - Plant Ontology Creation
Commercially sought technological innovation, verified prototype (RTP - reduction to practice). The objective of this worldwide challenge was to develop an automated system for (i) robotic extraction of narrative, tabular and graphical contents from scientific biomedical articles, (ii) identification of context-specific semantic relations between the extracted scientific terms, and (iii) construction of logically structured domain-specific databases for intelligent data analysis and knowledge representation. Tested on biological plants-related journal articles (PDF files).
