2010, InnoCentive Inc., USA, Challenge # 9258812 - Crystal Growth Detection System
Commercially licenced technological innovation, new device prototype. The embryo monitoring system was enhanced with a microfluidic addition and adjusted to detect smaller particles and their real-time changes in size. The objective of this worldwide challenge was to monitor the quality or to detect the eventual decay of micron-sized crystals of unstable bio-active compounds during a long-term storage.
